Local diversions are in place for light vehicles. Eastbound light vehicles are being diverted at Lockart Rd, Collingullie, then The Rock Rd. Westbound light vehicles are being diverted at Elizabeth Avenue. Diversion for heavy vehicles: Eastbound - traffic is being diverted at Narrandera to the Newell Highway, then Burley Griffin Way, and then onto the Hume Highway at Yass. Heavy vehicles travelling south on the Hume Highway to travel west on the Sturt Highway, are being diverted at Coolac, then onto Cootamundra, Junee and Olympic Highway. Nearby intersections closed to heavy vehicles: - Hume Highway and Sturt Highway, north of Tarcutta. - Hume Highway and Mates Gully Road north of Tarcutta. - Hume Highway and Tumbarumba Road (Ladysmith Road) south of Tarcutta.

Hazard
The Sturt Highway at Wagga Wagga is expected to close some time this afternoon due to flooding. Local diversions will be implemented. The alternative route will be via Olympic Hwy and Burley Griffin Way via Junee and Cootamundra.
