The Mitchell Hwy has re-opened, but visibility may still be affected on the Mitchell, Barrier, Oxley and Newell highways and connecting roads.
Road users experiencing poor visibility due to the storms are advised to reduce speed, turn air conditioning to recirculate, and be prepared to pull off the road and wait until conditions have improved.
